Activities for 1st & 2nd Class 15th-19th June

14th Jun 2020

Hello Everyone!

It was so lovely to see your smiling faces again on our zoom call. I have been missing you all and our little classroom antics; our riddles, brain breaks, Just Dance, all the stories & jokes we shared - so I must admit really enjoyed our little catch up!

One of the things students and teachers missed the most in this last term was our school tour. Take a look at some of the links below to some brilliant virtual tours from all around the world. They are a bit further afield than we could ever travel in real life, but why not make the most of this virtual life we are living at the moment! For the last week of school I would love if you could continue your daily reading and phonics book. You were such a good class to read, I’ve no doubt you will make your way through many lovely books at home over the holidays also.

It is hard to believe we have come to the end of this school year. It is definitely not how we might have imagined it but regardless you should all be so proud of how well you’ve done to keep up your schoolwork from home each week. It was a big ask of young children and I know you all did the best that you could, so make sure you enjoy your well earned summer holidays. Once we get back to normal school routine again we will have lots of fun activities to catch up on!

As always I am available on Seesaw if you’ve any questions. Looking forward to meeting you all in reality rather than a virtual setting!!

Have a fabulous summer & stay safe.
