Sport plays a very important part in the life of the school. The children are encouraged to try as many sports as possible. Ms. O'Brien and Ms. Ryan and the 'Active Schools' committee are also busy in their efforts to achieve an Active Flag for the school.  County Champions

Huge congratulations to our U13 panel of footballers who won the U13
Football County Final in Burncourt on November 20th. It was a hard fought
match and we took the title, thanks to a last minute penalty from Jack
Bergin.
Well done to each and every member of the panel and a special word of
thanks to our principal, Thomas Lyng, for all his work in training and
preparing the children.
