On the 19th of October, the children of Golden N.S took part in our third Spooky Sports Day. This was organised by the Active School Committee. There were different activities for each class. These games included;Headless Races,Throw The Pumpkin and Broomstick Races for the Infant classes, while the classes from 1st to 6th class took part in competitions such as Nosy Nut, Musical Zombies, Three-Legged Monster Races, Deadly Dodge Balloon, Pumpkin Patch and Floating Heads.
Prizes included: Chocolate apples and homework passes.
We started our Spooky Sports Day to get children more active at Halloween and it has been a great success so far!
We would like to thank Pat Griffin for his help getting the hall ready for the day.
