Science: Free Fall
16th Oct 2018
Today we completed a quick science experiment.
We investigated the affect (if any) that weight and size have on the speed of a falling object. We used a variety of differently shaped and sized items: an orange, a grape, a marker, a book, a paper clip and a tissue.
We made sure to conduct a fair test by dropping the objects at the same time and from the same height.
The results were quite interesting - just ask the students in 3rd & 4th class what they concluded from today’s investigation!
