Today 5th and 6th class put together a fun-filled day by opening up Café Pancóga in our classroom. First thing we researched our recipe and made plenty of batter—enough to feed the whole school—before setting it aside to set. Next the kids came up with ideas of how they would like to bring Café Pancóga to life and they brainstormed posters to advertise, our business name, menu ideas, our café aesthetic and what jobs needed to be done. Time was spent bringing this idea to life with jobs of chef, toppings overseer and even a maitre d’ and customer service being decided upon and divvied up. Music was put on to welcome our guests and by break time we were almost ready to welcome in our guests. Each class at a time was welcomed in, shown to their seat and had their order taken. When they were done feedback was given and unsurprisingly most people gave five stars 🤩 When everyone’s pancake dreams had been fulfilled, the time came for our savvy business creatives to sit down and tuck in to the fruits of their labours and enjoy a few well-deserved pancakes of their own! A great day filled with fun, sweet treats and proof of the power of teamwork and a can-do attitude! Well done to all who took part! 🥞
