Hello everyone,

Hope that you all had a lovely and relaxing midterm break. A quick reminder to everyone that collection of new books/materials will be this morning, Monday 22nd between 10am and 11:30. As of today, it is not yet set in stone when we will return to school, though there has been speculation that we will return shortly. However, as we now live in uncertain times, I have made provision for a prolonged closure just in case and prepared a pack for everyone.

In the pack you receive today, I have set work for this week (similar to the handout you received in January). I have also included worksheets for beyond this week, in the event that remote learning continues. I have everything dated with the date it is set for, this will match the homework list I will post online every week (to Seesaw and our school website), between now and Easter if we are still out of school. In the happy event that we return to school in the meantime, please return all worksheets to the school along with the rest of your child’s school books and materials, on their return to school.

With regards reading for their Bookbag/Shared Reading, I have enclosed one book in your child’s folder today, the rest will be available in PDF format online each week on Seesaw. From today, I am also including youtube links (to Irish videos I have uploaded) on Seesaw to help your child continue their Irish learning. In the video description I have included a translation of the Irish to help you support your child’s learning, if you need it.

I sincerely hope that the extra work enclosed will not be necessary and we will be back in school soon. However, if that is not the case, this should save any extra trips to school for you to collect further materials between now and Easter, if we are not.
