Over the last fortnight, we have been learning all about celebrations; from birthdays to weddings to Christmas to New Year’s Eve. We have also learned about how other cultures sometimes celebrate things differently to us. We finished up our topic by learning all about the Chinese Lunar New Year and the story behind it. We also compared the similarities and differences between our New Year and theirs. After that we decided to make our own Chinese Lanterns to celebrate.
