The children in 3rd and 4th class were very busy last week writing letters to friends and relatives they may not see over the Christmas period. Once we had written our letters, checked our spellings and grammar, it was off to the post office to post them!
Sheila, in the post office, very kindly treated the children to some chocolates as we posted our letters to far off destinations such as New Zealand, Western Australia, Thailand, the United States, Germany and the UK as well as counties Tipperary, Meath, Leitrim, Cork, Galway, Dublin and Offaly.
