This is just a little note to all the children in 2nd class, to say that I am thinking of you on this special day - on what would have been your First Holy Communion Day.
I’m sure you are disappointed, but it is important that we stay safe at home with our families for the moment and in time we will celebrate together.
Until then, I hope you all get the chance to mark this day in your own unique way at home; have your own little party, indulge in some cake or maybe take a family photo with the lucky ones who get to spend today with you.
Your special day will come and it will be worth the wait!
