3rd/4th Class work - Monday 8th March

Hi everyone,

This is our 9th and hopefully, last, week of remote learning!

I just want to thank you all, parents and children, for working so hard over the past couple of months. I'm not privy to anyone's personal circumstances but I do know that this has been a trying time for almost everyone. Trying to juggle home life, working in or outside of the home, trying to manage younger and older children and so on.....it certainly hasn't been easy. Thank you for enabling your children to engage with me on seesaw and through zoom. I really enjoyed being able to connect with them and provide feedback on their work.

The standard of work has been phenomenal, both in content and presentation and this is largely due to you, the parents. So thank you once again. I feel we are in a good place to resume our classroom work Monday week and I am very much looking forward to doing so!

There will be two zoom calls again this week, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday. Details will be sent via textaparent on Monday morning.

Just a little note for 4th class parents: I was going to begin decimal place this week and had mentioned having a zoom on Monday. However, on reflection, I think I will wait until the following week, when we are back in our classroom. We will work on Chapter 26, 'Chance' instead this week.
