3rd/4th Class work - Monday 25th January
Hi everyone!
We are beginning our 3rd week of homeschooling this week. I hope everybody has been finding the work manageable. Don't worry if getting everything done is a struggle - just do as much as you can in a day. One area that I would feel is particularly important is reading. If for any reason, schoolwork isn't happening on any given day, I would encourage you to prioritise reading - specifically your child reading aloud for an adult.
Some of our Maths work on 3D shapes will run into next week. It's not a particularly tricky chapter but I want to make sure everyone is familiar with the names of the 3D shapes studied and can recognise them in everyday life - so we will take our time on this one!
Hopefully we'll get some clarification from the department this week regarding reopening and homeschooling can be a thing of the past in a few short weeks! In the meanwhile, we'll move ahead with our learning as best we can.
Ms. Corbett
