Special Education Room – Mr. McCarthy
The Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher provides individual and group support to pupils with learning difficulties which may prevent them from benefiting from the standard system of education.
In Golden N.S, the SEN teacher also works closely with the class teacher in planning and implementing literacy iniatiatives such as 'Concepts About Print', 'Literacy Lift-Off' and 'Guided Reading'.
